Allow for items to be easily moved from one initiative to another.18 votes
Done. Please see: http://support.planbox.com/knowledgebase/articles/809427-2016-updates
Please add more detail about how invitations work for new users. During the trial I added folks and they never got emails or contact information. Knowing what happens when I hit "invite" would be very helpful as well as knowing where to find (if there is one) the option to resend the invite!1 vote
We added the following article in our Support Site
Need to be able to select multiple items at once to move and/or edit them.31 votes
Feature now in production
Move the item to Past iteration only if:
- all tasks within the item are completed
- item is marked as accepted / Released / etc..
- etc..101 votes
On the Tasks page there is a checkbox called “Show completed tasks”, if checked, all completed tasks are shown even if they were completed in the previous iteration. Note that there is no “move to history”. Actually what the system does is tale a snapshot of the items and tasks at the end of each iteration. What you see in the past is a snapshot.
- It would be helpful to be able to search for key phrases across all iterations regardless of Current, Last, Backlog, etc. The search function as designed only seems to work reliably on one iteration at a time.
- Search through multiple locations (item ,task, comment, description, text, feedback, label, etc. )
- Search for an initiative (especially useful when having long lists of initiatives)43 votes
Feature is now available in Beta. Please see: http://support.planbox.com/knowledgebase/articles/743955-searching-for-items-and-tasks-beta
Create a Gantt chart view (or similar report that would display a high level / visual representation of my plan and its progress)93 votes
We have released Planbox Boards which is currently in preview. Boards can be used to create plans and roadmaps and is loosely based on the Kanban model. We concluded that Kanban style planning is much more modern and efficient instead of the old style Gantt chart.
Boards is now accessible from the left menu. For more information please check out:
Boards will be in preview for the next 6 to 8 weeks at which point it will be fully released.
Sometimes a task ends up being more complicated than anticipated and needs to have sub-tasks. It would be nice to be able to drag the task to the Item section.
In an ideal world the new item would be a dependency of the item it was a child of. Bot for now just dragging the task to the item section should create a new item and remove the old task from the old item.20 votes
You can drag tasks into a another item. You have to create a new item; then drag and drop works as expected.
Moving project and tasks to another initiative is a different feature and we are working on adding this as well.
When a comment email is received, it would be nice to hit reply and have your new comments (from email) posted to the comment forum. This is especially useful to real-time collaboration on mobile devices without having the need to log into the website.23 votes
Thanks for your vote. This feature is now being tested and will be released later this week.
Create a view of projects in a list and what % completion they are at. I can view individual tasks and I like that, but cant get an overall picture/overview of where each project is at.63 votes
The Planbox feature “Create a view of projects in a list and what % completion they are at.” that you voted for has been completed.
I havent found a way to remove item types that I don't need. There is just too many of them and I know for sure that I will not be using most of them. So I would like to remove the ones that are not useful for me. At the moment it takes too long to choose the correct type.9 votes
This has been released. To edit item types, simply go to the Initiative Settings page, look for the “Features” section (left nav menu). From there, you can change your “Type” preference and choose the ones that are important to you.
- exporting a calendar to ical or google calendar
- synching calendar between Planbox and Google Calendar72 votes
Hello, this feature has been beta released. Please see: http://support.planbox.com/knowledgebase/articles/744582-calendar-integration
I'd like to be able to indicate that a task or item is dependent on one or more specific tasks or items.
It may also prove helpful to link to other related tasks in a non-dependency way.161 votes
Dependant Tasks is now available in Planbox Work:
